Don’t Wanna Doubt You, the first single from Shookrah’s forthcoming debut album, is an infectiously groovy instructional guide to the art of wooing. The song responds playfully to the topical issues of seduction and consent by imploring the listener to ‘respectfully woo me’. Senita walks a prospective love interest steadily through the appropriate levels of enticement and self-restraint warranted to spark an everlasting romance.
